OUR INSTRUCTORS
Owner and founder of learn2bike, Tatiana is an avid cyclist and uses her bike as the primary means of transportation around town, logging approximately 7,000 km/year. Tatiana started her cycling education career as a instructor with the national CAN-BIKE program, and has been teaching children and adults to bike for nearly two decades.

Lesley has been riding bikes in and around the GTA for 25 years. She's a founding member of the Toronto Triathlon Club (2006) and an NCCP-certified Level 1 Triathlon coach. With a professional background in Learning & Development, Lesley loves teaching adults and children to help them build skills and confidence. She'll work at your pace and within your current abilities to help you reach your goals.

Alex is a former student of Tatiana's, and is an aspiring teacher, currently enrolled in the Education and Society program at the University of Toronto. Our students enjoy his enthusiasm and his commitment to every student's success. This is his second summer with learn2bike, and he teaches primarily in the west end location. |

LEARN2BIKE BEGINNER
Mission: Learn to balance on two wheels! Age: 6 yrs + (kids and adults welcome!) Prerequisite: A desire to learn! Description: This series of lessons is designed to get you up and cycling. Zero prior experience required. Topics include: basic balance and pedaling, basic handling (starting, stopping, turns), safety information, bike care and maintenance. |
LEARN2BIKE INTERMEDIATE
Mission: Perfect and polish your bike riding skills. Age: 7 yrs + (kids and adults welcome!) Prerequisite: Basic bike handling skills Description: You already know how to ride a bike, but want to get more efficient and comfortable on your machine. Instruction is custom-tailored to your interest and level of skill. Possible topics: use of gears, effective starting and stopping, precision turning, knee-friendly pedaling, hill-climbing techniques. |
LEARN2BIKE COMMUTER CONSULTING
Mission: Get ready for real and practical urban riding. Age: 16 yrs + Prerequisite: Intermediate bike handling skills Description: Thinking of joining the rapidly growing ranks of Toronto's bike commuters but not sure where to begin. We'll help you pick a bike and gear, chart a route, and offer tips on everything from safely navigating the urban jungle on two wheels to keeping your work clothes clean and your laptop dry. |
